Class Description

At The Practice Buffalo we teach a Baptiste inspired style of yoga. It is a vigorous flowing style of yoga. It combines strength-building postures, breathwork and mindfulness. It is practiced in a heated room (around 90 degrees), this style challenges both the body and mind, helping to improve flexibility, endurance and focus. It's accessible to all levels with an emphasis on personal growth and self-discovery; through movement and breath.

Basics

A full hour of dynamic movement, breathwork and alignment following the Baron Baptiste Journey into Power sequence. This class offers a balanced, sweaty flow for all levels to challenge themselves while having fun.

A deeper, longer practice that allows more time to explore poses and variations. Flow through the Baptiste sequence with extra focus on strength and flexibility. Great for all levels looking to push their practice further!

HIIT & Yoga combined! It is high intensity interval training and a hot yoga practice. Light weights and bands are used to target small and large muscles. This challenges you physically and mentally. Instruction changes weekly to keep your body and mind motivated!

YIN is balancing practice for Vinyasa, and a balancing practice for the body and mind! Yin targets joints, connective tissues and bones to improve mobility, range of motion and stability of the deep body structure. We hold poses for longer periods, sink in and breathe. Yin work supports and sustains your body's ability to carry on for a lifetime.

Ideal for beginner or anyone looking to revisit the foundations of yoga. This class focuses on foundational yoga poses and proper alignment. You'll learn how to move confidently and safely through each pose. With a slower place, it's a great opportunity to ask questions and deepen your understanding of yoga. All levels welcome!

Practice Strong

Practice Strong is a yoga class designed for students with different abilities. It is open to the public and all are welcome. This class has been adapted in many ways to accommodate the different needs of our students.
